@simonjohnston9488 it was legal at the time until it was sanctioned. It was merely a privacy service. They never advertised or promoted money laundering even if that is what the government retroactively classified the service as. He'll more than likely win in court as long as he was paying his taxes.

@BiigiieCheeese none of the top 10 coins are the future. Market adoption doesn't make a coin the best or optimal. Monero does everything Tornado does without an extra layer. Privacy by default. Additionally, tornado isn't dead it litterally cannot be shutdown no matter how hard the government sanctions. Again, use Monero if you care about privacy. The government will always use crime as an excuse to monitor and track it's citizens. Just look at the Snowden leaks and the NSA databases.
