He isn't the big bad man they make him out to be.

Knowing the country is pretty important because of shipping and customs implications but it is quite ironic.

I'd say maybe but the feds are more competent than this at basic web development. They wouldn't release it in this state.

@user-vt3vo1yd3v That is a fair take. I cant read minds but to me he was more referring to people who deal drugs in poverty communities and use violence to retain territorial control. I don't think he means anyone who sells drugs rather the gang members and such.

I have no sympathy for people who profit by stealing and scamming others. Glad these guys got caught finally.

This won't increase anonymity. It'll only increase speed.

I'm certainly not.

It's easier to prove a property is used in the commission of a RICO related crime than a vehicle simply because properties have addresses that are commonly shared during routine business communications.

@ it does not as far as anyone currently knows.

@DownLowSyndrome i honestly cannot stand captions. They are so distracting for me. It's almost impossible to enjoy the visuals when my attention is repeatedly snapped to the captions.

Gang stalking is a real tactic used to target whistleblowers and other politically relevant individuals which you're but if you're leaving a comment in this comment section. Sorry but you're not that important.
2
I'm not sure they would allow that in court but I wouldn't put it past the feds to do something as wild as that.

@Sam_Bent matrix kind of sucks because it lacks tor support

@4lphao256 the evidence was so suspect that the prosecutors didn't even use it. It smelled heavily of planted evidence. Seems like the prosecutor didn't want to risk the case by including the imo obviously planted evidence by the feds. Isnt it interesting that every enemy of the state happens to have csam or other illegal digital untraceable content on their hard drives? Very interesting.

@d.josephm.thorne-curtis9817 reporting from a different perspective is one thing. To act like a malware/ransomware and scamming monetization forum being taken down is a bad thing is poor ethics.

@d.josephm.thorne-curtis9817 nothing I said implies people shouldn't come to their own conclusions. But we shouldn't conflate drug nets with consenting customers with ransomware and malware gangs who are extortionists and thiefs by nature.

While it is great that he was released it is absolutely true that they destroyed him and WikiLeaks as a whole. They drove him to near insanity through isolation and paranoia. Absolutely disgusting behavior by our government.

You don't need to understand complex math or anything like that to be a software engineer. Just learn a tool that is in demand, create some personal portfolio projects, and apply for an entry level job. Even the entry level jobs start at like 50k where I'm at. You even have a leg up on others since you have some systems knowledge and are likely familiar with a command prompt. Use that to your advantage.

They'd very likely hack the server itself using their secret library of exploits and installing a bug to deanonymize people.

It is pretty interesting because Brazil is part of BRINKS and isn't very happy with the US.
