Run VMs. Problem solved. You can even do a KVM GPU pass though for a native experience while still running Linux.

@kyokazuto you don't want to do that unless you want to avoid the issues with VMs. Dual booting means using Windows the majority of the time and Linux sometimes. When I duel booted I hardly used Linux unfortunately. Rebooting to work on projects sucks. I want to go from gaming to working without having to reboot.

If the user uses native Linux applications Linux is not difficult. KDE and Gnome are very user friendly and most distros offer single click software installation which is more than you can get from Windows.

@BMWe-oz9wk I think either are completely fine and beginner friendly. Both work out of the box. KDE is more customizable but not to the extent a casual user will break anything doing so.
