  25.  @jamesphelps1958  The Germans were a lot closer to developing a nuclear bomb than you might think, they had the science figured out but the problem was they did't have access to enough enriched uranium. If they had fielded a much larger army, they might have conquered the whole of Europe / Russia / North Africa and found a way to obtain more uranium from the Belgian Congo or Russia. They could then have put nuclear weapons on V2 missiles or jet airplanes, which they already had. Britain would have been a very easy target ..
