"They experimented on how mustard gas affected the human body" All they had to do was ask the 1000s of troops who were gassed by it during WW1. Why the hell did they need to gas more people.

@KendrickMegaFan Im talking about the widespread use of Poison gas on the battlefields of WW1, no nazis during that conflict.

Glad you talked about the Japanese horror camp Unit 731, its not well known, everyone knows what the Nazis did but Japans monstrous behaviour and treatment of prisoners gets overlooked. To this day Japan has not formally apologized to the Victims and POWs for its treatment of them.

@nilesbutler8638 I would have thought the doctors treating the tens of thousands of men that survived gas attacks, and autopsies of those that died in the years following, would have had more than enough data to draw a detailed conclusion as to how gas affects the human body.

If you can find it, there is a movie called "Men behind the sun" which shows what Japan was up to at Unit 731. Its a hard watch.

Yeah the Japanese seem to get a bit of a pass on the horrific barbarous things they did to POWs and in China and East Asia during WW2. Theres a movie about Unit 731 called "Men behind the sun" its a hard watch, if you can find it.
