Wrong, all those ships were not taken out by exocets, only one, the Sheffield was sunk by an exocet. The rest were sunk by free fall bombs dropped by Argentine aircraft.

Why is it amazing?

Susan Wojcicki Bolshevik from Poland I remember reading a book on that, The Battle of Tsushima, the Russian Fleet had to sail half way around the world to get there, took them 6 months, on the way they fired on a group of British trawlers thinking they were Japanese warships,... in the North Sea :-) luckily there aim was so bad they only sank one trawler. The whole thing was a debacle.

Susan Wojcicki Bolshevik from Poland Also the British, who had more ports and coaling stations around the world than the Russians, French and Germans combined, were passing information of the whereabouts of the Russian fleet the whole time it traversed the globe. Plus the Brits were helping the Japanese with the latest gunnery advancements and range finding/ sighting innovations. They had stopped Russia from buying capital ships from other countries, and built the Japanese battleships for them.

@kilofoxtrotdelta6112 Not really, the ships were providing fire support with their 4.5" guns and were in a cove or otherwise had their radars hampered by land masking the approaching aircraft, which flew so low, many bombs didnt even have time to arm before they hit, thus failing to explode, in some cases passing right through. This before CIWS had been adopted by the R.N. If the ships had been in open ocean the Harriers and sea dart, sea wolf missiles would have taken a huge toll on the planes, but some could have still made it through. As it was the Argentine Air Force suffered heavy losses.
