  5. Same, i was born a few years earlier and can remember being told in this order, New ice age coming!! Acid rain is slowly killing all plant life in Eastern Europe, will spread to the rest of Europe by the late 80s, And here in NZ we got a bonus prize, The hole in the ozone layer will make going outside without PPE impossible by the 2000s, (They even ran ad's on TV showing what it would be like with the ozone hole one) Have never heard anyone say "OK, wow, we really screwed up on that one, guess we were wrong🤷‍♀." Its always just more of the same, only the date of the end of the world changes.😆😆

  6. We got ad's on TV here in NZ about the "hole in the ozone" it was right over us, and we were going to be stuck inside unless you wore a space suit.
