A friend of mine found out by pure chance (the high school never told her!!) that her daughter had not attended a single class since the start of the year and has been sitting in her form room all day. Why? because she told the teachers she has anxiety and "can't" go to her classes, A miracle cure was preformed when the mum told her her phone would be taken off her if she didn't start going to class.
