  3. Most of his videos are demonetized, so a lot of the time he isn't getting a red cent from the ad's playing. There are better ways to support him than putting up with shitty YT ads.

  4.  @jennymisteqq5399  You're not aware of a little update that allows YT to play ad's on non-monetised channels?? Even if a Video is de-monetised, YT can still play pre-roll ad's. Paul himself regularly states he is demonetised and see's no income from any Ad's played before/during Videos. This article explains it. "YouTube creators are fuming over a change to the site’s terms of service stating ads will be shown on channels that aren't monetized. It’s not the advertising itself that isn’t sitting well with creators, it’s YouTube’s decision not to pay non-monetized channels for serving ads. Ordinarily, creators would have to join the YouTube Partner Program in order to allow ads to be served on their channel. The main benefit of opting in to serving ads is revenue sharing. Many creators publish on YouTube to earn a side income, while others earn their entire living on the site. These are the changes coming into effect, as per an update to YouTube’s Terms of Service." That update came into effect in early 2021.
