  2.  @coolkitty2075  LOL, reminds me of years ago when i was 19, i returned to the UK after the family emigrated to NZ when i was a small child. Still British citizenship then and a British passport. I worked in London for a year, but wanted to live in Newcastle where relatives were, moved up there, and found a job at a shipyard that was doing some renovation work on oil and gas rigs, but it wouldn't be starting for another 3 months or so. So in the meantime i thought i would apply for the dole, in short, got told by an Indian woman with a strong accent to "Go back home if i wasn't working, because the dole was for British people" 🤣🤣This was after i showed my British passport to her as I.D.😆

  3. For years here in NZ i worked with a guy who had escaped from Hungary after the Soviet invasion. Some of the stories he told us about how the Soviets turned people against each other remind me a lot of whats happening in various western countries now.

  34. Ive noticed in the last 6 or so tears many, many police officers i talk to here in NZ are from the UK, so one day i asked one what brought him to NZ. He said he was a cop in the UK but was very disillusioned with the direction the UK police was heading, the next one i asked said almost the exact same thing.
