The fake ones ive seen are pretty easy to tell they are fake, Asian guy walking along random forest or beach path with either a camera man following, or a camera in hand. Suddenly spots something in the mud/weeds. Its a "rusty" X-box!!! (always covered in a weird yellowy mud/rust) "restoration" usually involves sped up footage of thing getting washed in amazing mystery fluid that removes yellow rust/mud. Ending reveals new looking x-box. π€£π€£ (Also, when you leave a comment calling them out for being dishonest, they always "Like" yoour comment.π€£

The first one i ever saw, had a PC that the guy just "found" while walking outside his village, (luckily followed by a cameramanπ:-) covered in that same yellow rust/mud they all use. When he started scrubbing the hard drive, mother board etc in soapy water with a scrubbing brush i nearly PMSL. Called him out, and he left a "like" on my comment. π€£ Shameless.

Yeah its called Verdigris, it appears on copper, bronze, and brass, but it doesn't happen on plastic like some of these fake vids ive seen.π

Some of them are so obviously, ridiculously fake, like scrubbing an x-box or PC in water to remove the same yellow mud/rust they all use.

7:12 He's wrong about that turtle being from New Zealand, we have NO native or introduced freshwater wild turtles here. Papua New Guinea is 5,198 km away from NZ, he was probably thinking of that giant continent Australia that IS close to PNG.π

OK, but what about the hard drive? ive seen them give them a good bath and scrub π

There are no freshwater Turtles native or introduced to New Zealand. (Some are kept as pets tho) "Dan the Turtle man" is 100% wrong. Also these videos are from S E Asia, Not NZ.

The motorcycle "restoration" ones are hilarious if you know anything about bikes, another funny one was a channel from Vietnam where they claim to find an engine, at the bottom of the ocean, where they said it had laid for years, and get it going after a quick scrub, and a couple of barnacles knocked off.ππ
