  4. I was in Beijing during the Olympics in 08, and was shocked at how openly racist and xenophobic they are, and they give zero fucks about it. A person in our group could speak fluent Mandarin and would often have a "No fucking way did they just say that" look on her face when we were out. Another had a moko, (Maori face tattoo) she seemed to attract the lions share of "WTF did they just say" comments. I just wonder if they could take it as well as dish it out. :-))
