  1. I bought a ex NZ army SLR when they changed to the AUG and were selling them off. I had the barrel shortened by around 120 mm ( 5 inch’s) and the magazine modified to hold 10rnds from 20. All to make it easier to handle in the NZ bush.

  2. This is my favourite gun in PuBG, my son thinks i'm nuts but gimme one of these, a X4 scope, about four pans of ammo and i can wreak havoc bridge camping with the boys :-))

  3. I bought an ex NZ army SLR, when they swapped to the AUG, it was a British made one as it had black plastic furniture and not the wood furniture all the Aussie ones had. Used it for hunting pigs and goats, and had the barrel shortened and the mag shortened down to hold 10 rnds.

  4.  @richardbowden6068  Yep they did indeed, the Aussie ones never swapped to the plastic furniture for some reason. Loved my SLR, but I ended up part exchanging it for a Browning BAR in 7mm magnum. ( the hunting BAR, not the military version :-)
