@spencer rhymer it’s hilarious that you are unaware that even though the Republicans had control of the senate , they needed 60 votes ( which meant some Democrats had to vote for wall funding ) as opposed to the normal 51 votes to pass the appropriations bill for the wall funding. So basically Trump got no help from congress in getting funding , so he found other ways to fund the wall and had to win in court to allow those funds to go towards building the wall. Right now 10 miles a week are being built and he has achieved around 350 miles of a 550 mile total wall length... much of the border doesn’t need a wall because it is virtually impenetrable.

He even offered to provide all dreamers plus more that hadn’t registered yet amnesty and a pathway to citizenship , but the Dems refused. Trump is a deal maker , that’s why he has been able to broker a peace deal with Israel and UAE as well as Bahrain. He doesn’t play politics he just gets things done.

@spencer rhymer if you had of got your information from independent sources , you would realise how big a a deal the Israel peace deal with The UAE and Bahrain is as it is expected many more Arab countries will sign up as well. You would also have picked up that Trump got a second Nobel peace prize nomination for brokering the Serbia Kosovo Peace Accord. Just accept it , you mightn’t like Trump but he has done wonders for world peace and deserves a Nobel peace Prize.

In terms of the Israel peace deal, it looks like Oman is the next country that will sign up and Saudi Arabia may be in the cards too. @Joan Langmo triggered much there Joan? Firstly, Trump never said new wall plus repair the old he just said build the wall. Secondly, 613 miles of pedestrian fencing and vehicle barriers were installed as a part of the Secure Fence Act of 2006 so basically nearly all of that fence is being replaced by the wall. So this pathetic argument the Democrats have that no new wall is installed is rubbish, because they know the wall being built will be replacing this mostly useless fencing and vehicle barriers that have been previously installed .

Trump is the most transparent president in history and we all know who he is because he tweets how he feels everyday, he has informal press conferences everyday and he just riffs for a couple of hours off script in his rallies. My opinion is that he is as funny as hell, he keeps his promises , he cares about the country , he isn’t afraid of China or breaking the diplomatic norms and trade deals to make sure America comes first. His supporters aren’t interested in a president that acts presidential , we are interested in someone who keeps his promises no matter what. At the end of the day Trump will be judged on his achievements ...the political climate is too hot now for his detractors to see them but I’ve no doubt history will judge Trump as a very successful president both on the domestic and international fronts
