@leo63 lion so is Walmart, Amazon etc going to hire all 16 million people who have lost their jobs? Secondly If these 16 million people did get these jobs, doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of social distancing?

@A. L. “ A million applicants” you idiot. Do you really think all 16 million people who have lost their jobs are going to work at Walmart ? There aren’t enough “ essential” jobs to go around during this crisis , it’s as simple as that.

Really ? so it’s OK for these people to risk being out in public if they wear the uniform of an essential worker such as a Walmart Employee but not OK if they are out protesting not having a job... the logic is ridiculously stupid

@Courtney Lee over 1 million applicants for these jobs... do you really think there are enough “ essential” jobs to cover the 16 million who have lost their jobs. BTW why is it “ safe” to work at Walmart , but not safe in other supposed non essential jobs?
