  4. Trust No One the system is based on the electoral college system..if it was based on the popular vote then all politicians would focus on votes from the big high population coastal cities and the fly over states would be left for dead.

James Osborn well , high local government taxed states like California where he has capped the deductions for state taxes to $10000 has meant many richer Californians and similar states pay more taxes due to tax reform. This specifically hurts rich house holders who pay a lot of state property tax.
