This is far worse than Russian collusion to fix elections.

@Carrick Cullen Democrats know most kids have been indoctrinated into leftist ideologies at schools and the only reason they want 16 year olds to vote is because they believe it will help them.. that my friend is what I call conspiracy to try and fix an election by changing the electoral system to favour Democrats.

If you don’t pay tax you shouldn’t be able to vote.

@YFNA that is a ridiculous argument . It’s like Democrats putting a bill forward to allow democrats to have 2 votes and then you criticising the Republicans for opposing that bill because that would hurt republicans electoral chances.

@YFNA I’m just going to have to write you off as an idiot. It’s obvious as day that Democrats want 16 olds to vote because it benefits them. How else could you justify school children being given the right to vote? They are in school , dependant on their parents for everything, they don’t pay tax.. The voting age was reduced from 21 to 18 justifiably so as 18 year olds could be sent to war and die for their country , tell me what is it about 16 year olds that should give them the right to vote.

@YFNA what has the age of consent got to do with the right to vote? The voting age was dropped from 21 to 18 during the Vietnam war in 1971 so you are wrong, in the last 4 years of the Vietnam war 18 year olds could vote and they earned their right to vote . Now if 16 year olds could fight and die for their country then sure , that would be a legitimate reason for lowering the voting age to 16 , but that is not going to happen is it?

@YFNA well actually you need parental consent to marry before 18. You’re picking the exception rather than the rule to try and prove a point and therefore wrong again.

@YFNA I’ve destroyed every argument you’ve presented but you still persist.. Your question is why is a 16 year old incapable of making a decision in the voting booth? Well then why not 12 years olds? The answer is obvious.. because they are still dependant children being supported by their parents. They don’t work and they don’t pay taxes. Really , What kind of society do you want when you advocate children being able to vote on the direction of the country?
