If you had a few more brain cells you’d understand “perjury trap” is an underhanded tactic used to draw out a mistruth on a non criminal matter to abuse the fact that any non truths to an FBI agent is considered as a federal crime. This gives the FBI leverage to force witnesses to do what ever they want under the threat of jail for lying about a non criminal act.
