I didn’t think Cohen lied about not being paid.. he said he was not reimbursed by the Trump Campaign or the Trump Organisation. his purpose was to make it clear that there was no campaign funds violations. He didn’t disclose that Donald Trump personally reimbursed him as this was a personal matter and was irrelevant to the campaign funds violation question.

With regards to your supposed quote from Giuliani, that’s not what he said and your attempt to spin it is as transparent as hell. He referenced the weeks proceeding the election to highlight how busy Trump was and thus Cohen took it upon himself to deal with this issue. Simple as that. The bottom line is that Cohen is trumps personal lawyer/ fixer and as a lawyer his main job is to deal with unsavoury personal issues that arise when you are a celebrity such as Trump is. It is a regular part of Cohens job to do this kind of work for Donald Trump and it had nothing to do with campaign finance.

Jodie Holmes we’ll see how it plays out, but as Geraldo said Obama paid a fine for $375000 in undeclared campaign funding so even if this doesn’t go Trumps way the penalty is usually just a fine..no big deal

lester brown it’s not up to the investigators to determine if it is relevant. is up to the courts to decide that. I can’t see this hurting Trump in any way. Worst case scenario being a fine.

They judge Trump on his policies and have forgiven him for his past transgressions. If he did these things while in office as Clinton did then they as well as most people would not accept Trump and would vote him out. Trump has done nothing illegal and he has every right to defend himself against any charges (and none have been laid against him) There are many frivolous laws like J walking, or loitering in Starbucks and campaign finance laws. If campaign finance laws was such a serious law then Rosie O’Donnell should be going to prison but is unlikely to even be charged Trumps supporters know the Democrats are trying anything to remove Trump from office including telling lies and using any unethical means they can this whole Russia collusion rubbish is an example and his supporters will not tolerate this and will defend him.

lester brown There is so much you need to get informed about , however given time constraints I will focus on the collusion witch hunt. Mueller has indicted are number of people and organisations. But let me be clear there have been no indictments for collusion. Flynn, Manafort and Gates have been indicted for other things not related to Russian collusion. To date there is no evidence or charges been laid that have been made against any Trump associates for Russian collusion. This is easy to very from readily available government reports. Please do some research, I am really horrified that you have been mislead this badly about the Russian collusion rubbish.

lester brown good to see you’ve done some reading.. You’ve actually contradicted yourself when you said mueller has not released any findings. He has and you can see all the indictments you have seen to date have got nothing to do with Russian Collusion. Any link to collusion is speculation on your part. We also know that the House Intelligence Committee has concluded a 12 month investigation into Russian collusion and reported that there was no evidence to suggest any Russian collusion. Mueller has also indicated through his boss Rosenstein that Trump is not the target of any of these investigations. So besides the speculation ,after 22 months there has been no evidence found of any collusion whatsoever. You seem to be putting a lot of hope into the Trump Towers meeting. Yet you neglect to mention that the Russian lawyer at the centre of this meeting has indicated as recently as few weeks ago that Mueller has not even bothered speaking to her.. that should tell you how much credence mueller puts into this Trump towers meeting having anything to do with Russian collusion. It is notable that the House Intelligence Committee has questioned this Russian lawyer last year and concluded that there was no evidence of collusion. You don’t have to be a lawyer to use logic and one thing we can all agree with is that Mueller knows all the lines of investigations more than anyone... now use your logic and ask yourself why has Mueller not questioned the Russian lawyer, why has Mueller passed on the Cohen investigation to the New York Attorney Generals office instead of pursuing it further himself, why with these latest revelations of Cohen getting money from corporations such as Ford and AT&T who have already been questioned by Mueller not been pursued any further by Mueller? So keep reading and if you actually find any reported evidence of Russian collusion then please tell Mueller ,as to date there is only MSM speculation and nothing else

lester brown I think we all agree people are innocent until proven guilty, I see you levelling a lot of accusations against Trump and yet you have not presented any evidence of him being charged and convicted of any crimes.. you represent the mob mentality that hung people on pure speculation and no evidence. She deleted 33000 emails , bleached her hard drives and smashed computers with hammers to hide incriminating evidence and you think she is the paragon of virtue.. give me a break.
