  3. abdul majeed 1958 Australia did that by sending illegals who tried entering by boat to an offshore island (Manus Island) and sent a message to all future illegal entry attempts that they would never step foot in Australia.. this action was harsh and it had the same reaction from the left that trump is getting now, stopped illegal boat entries almost overnight and saved thousands of deaths by drowning..
