  4. @Daisy Elmir Trump campaigned about getting out of these endless wars. He even said 12 months ago that he was removing troops from Syria. How can we criticise Trump for following through on his campaign promises? Note the rest of the world knew for the last 12 months that the US were withdrawing from Syria, if they are so worried about the Kurds why didn’t the United Nations organising a peace keeping force to fill the void?

  12. @Daisy Elmir Trump told the world that he was removing troops from Syria for over 12 months now.. the Kurds knew they had to find new allies and the United Nations knew that Turkey would invade if they didn’t fill the void..All Trump has done if follow through on his promises... the blame lies with Turkey for invading Syria and the United Nations for not filling the void

  13. @Daisy Elmir actually I don’t blame Turkey solely, I also blame the United Nations for not working with Trump when 12 months ago he said he was removing all troops .the European countries also refused to take back their own ISIS prisoners as they expected the US to look after their citizen prisoners as well as protect the Kurds indefinitely. Trump has had enough of this war and pulled out. This has forced the Kurds to partner up with Syria and possibly Russians against the invading Turks , The 1000 or so ISIS prisoners will now find their way back to their own European countries . So things will sort them selves out.

  15. @Fecal Matter The Kurds have been at war with Turkey and others, for centuries. It was a mutually beneficial alliance when the US provided arms and other support to the Kurds... who were going to fight with or without US help.

It is not the responsibility of the US to play babysitter between two warring groups. If they want to massacre themselves, then let them go at it. So at any stage are you going to hold Turkey responsible for carry out this invasion? Why do you people always hold Trump responsible for the acts of another sovereign nation?
