Seems you seem to want be remembered for your pearls of wisdom instead of just debating the facts...the fact is that the Secure Fences Act was voted on and approved by Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, and many other before and covers 700 miles of barriers. Were Schumer and Pelosi motives then to me remembered forever?

@Tim Countis look up the 2006 secure fences act and you will see Obama, Schumer, Pelosi and many other democrats voted for it.. The reason they are opposing it now is because they hate Trump and put this hatred above the national interest of the country.

@Donna Willams what is your point? All Trump wants is a barrier that works and Border control have said an 18 to 30 foot steel bollard fence will do the trick and will also allow them to see who’s on the other side which make it safer for them.

@Donna Willams get with the times. Trump has compromised after design discussions with border Control Staff and also listening to Democrats objections to a concrete wall. Concrete wall out.... steel bollard Fence in. As long as it does the job he doesn’t care what it’s called or what it’s made off.

@Donna Willams also he needs 60 votes in the senate to get wall funding and that meant 9 democrats voting for it.... of course that was never going to happen even when he offered amnesty for 1.8 million DACA recipients

@claire bigelow no wall will keep an invading army out. This wall is a physical barrier designed to deter those seeking illegal entry from even trying to get in.
