The Bush , Obama and Trump administrations have all expressed concerns with most of the European members of NATO not contributing enough to defence spending to protect themselves.. Tell me how would you get European NATO members to beef up their military spending to protect themselves against a Russian threat without scaring the crap out of them that they may be without the US if they don’t pull their fingers out and meet the 2% of GDP defence spending requirement for all NATO members?
