Did you really expect that you don’t pay your fair share and then also not have some of your citizens ( 42 in total I believe) make the ultimate sacrifice? This is all about fairness and it’s all been a one way street for too long now...Trump will not tolerate it.

  16. @Jonas MF I don’t think your 43 danish deaths versus 2400 US deaths is helping your case. This is not about playing their role in NATO conflicts , it’s about meeting an agreed to target on military spending for each NATO member to be able to provide the service to protect all NATO Members.. if Denmark cannot meet its commitments then they should drop out of NATO and fend for themselves.

  18. @Jonas MF if Denmark doesn’t like the deal , then try to renegotiate it or leave. The criteria that has to be met is 2% of GDP on military spending. No one cares if your socialist healthcare system for every citizen also covers soldiers. So until Denmark can get all other NATO members to change the criteria then they have an obligation to meet the current criteria. End of Story.
