@Sunrise Sunset there is no war in Saudi Arabia and US forces are invited... Syria never invited US forces and there is a war there. BTW US forces are based in their 100s of 1000s in countries that are allies and are welcome them there.

@Sunrise Sunset All the countries that host US Soldiers could protect themselves , however they like the security of having US forces there to deter enemies.

@Sunrise Sunset Germany has nearly 40000 US troops based there. I’m sure Germany probably doesn’t need American soldiers based there but I bet they’re glad they are.

@Sunrise Sunset do you really care about the murder of one Saudi Arabian journalist? Saudi Arabia are a strategic ally in the Middle East and provide stability there.. and as they say, you keep you friends close and your enemies closer.

@kenneth johnson firstly a simple google search will verify my numbers are from an independent pollster and not Fox. Secondly , the whole reason terrorists exist is because of hostile forces occupying their land, the sooner the US gets out of the Middle East the sooner terrorists attacks will reduce. And then they can go back to their fighting their own tribal wars.

@old james firstly the US has opened up huge oil resources in its own territory and is now energy independent and is actually a net exporter of energy, so basically it doesn’t need middle eastern oil. Secondly I didn’t say the US did most of the work in Syria. All they did really was arm and support Kurdish soldiers who had been fighting against the development of an ISiS caliphate in their are of northern Syria long before the US got involved. The US has 100s of 1000s of US bases in allied countries all over the world and will not abandon these allies, the Kurds and US were short term allies that mutually benefited in joining forces to fight ISIS. When that war was won, there was no way the US would now side with the Kurds against another ally in Turkey.
