Fauci knows the vaccine does not prevent a person from getting the virus or transmitting it is false , so his argument about protecting those around you is a lie

The vaccine will not stop you getting or transmitting the virus . It is designed to stop you getting very sick and dying. Fauci knows this but he still propagates the lie that getting the vaccine will protect others around you.

@vbesley46 stop being an idiot and just check out the CDC website. Because if you get vaccinated because you are under the false impression that you can now visit a elderly relative without infecting them , then you could be endangering their lives because of Fauci’s blatant lie.
5
@jdnb86 anyone with half a brain is aware of this limitation of the vaccine , check out the CDC website if you don’t believe me
4
@MyName-pl7zn this fact is not hidden, it is plastered across the CDC website
3
One Redjam111 check out CDC website , they state the limitations of the vaccine as clear as day.
3
@bob rubbish! This information is available on the CDC website ... wait and see, Fauci will have to come back and clarify this false statement

Fauci is a liar. The vaccine does not prevent people from getting the virus or transmitting it ..it was designed to stop people from getting very sick and dying .. so getting vaccinated will not you from infecting others
2
Fauci knows The vaccine does not prevent a person contracting or transmitting the virus, so the argument of protecting the vulnerable around you is false
2
@stevenbrock528 wrong! The vaccine is designed to prevent severe illness and death and it is very effective at that... however there is a difference between vaccine efficacy and vaccine effectiveness. Efficacy is the ability to stop people contracting the virus, effectiveness is the ability to prevent severe illness and death. You can still contract the virus and transmit it ... my whole point is that Fauci is giving people a false sense of security that they will not contract and spread the virus , which is a irresponsible and dangerous.
1
@DaleHartley I disagree. If people are under the false impression that they can’t catch or transmit the virus , then they put at risk the vulnerable people in their lives. Fauci is being very irresponsible by saying the vaccine prevents the spread of the virus when CDC reports clearly states that this is not the case.
1
@MeanGeneSanDiego ffs ! the vaccine does not prevent you from getting Covid , you can still get it while vaccinated
1
@MeanGeneSanDiego What part of “ it will not prevent you from getting the virus” don’t you understand? It just means the viral load will not be as high so it is more likely that you will have minor symptoms or more likely be asymptomatic... which is very dangerous if you think you can visit grandma and not infect her.
1
@MeanGeneSanDiego Idiotboy, you are better off getting the shot if you want to protect YOURSELF. However, Fauci Is misleading the public by telling them , vaccination will prevent them from infecting others. This is clearly not the case as indicated by the CDC and it gives people a false sense of security that they will not pass on the virus to a vulnerable family member. This is irresponsible and very dangerous .

@DaleHartley I’ve never said the vaccine isn’t effective . It is very effective at stopping people getting very sick and dying as that is what it is designed for. People are confusing vaccine efficacy versus effectiveness. The efficacy is the ability of the vaccine in prevention of contracting Covid, whereas effectiveness is the prevention of getting very sick and dying . So if you get the vaccine , your chance of dying from a Covid infection is very small, however that doesn’t means you can’t contract the virus and spread it. That is my point. My advice to those who are getting vaccinated so that can visit elderly loved ones is to make sure the ones they want to visit are fully vaccinated before they visit them.
