You people just don’t pay attention do you? This is just a simple ruling to stop Jack Smith from bypassing the normal judicial appeals process
53
@Yourdeadmeat69 I doubt if the Supreme Court cared what the appellate court was doing . It just recognised that there is normal judicial process and it wasn’t going to allow Jack Smith to bypass that process
7
It’s a big win for trump in the court of public opinion as people are are starting to see how corrupt the DOJ is by trying and failing to leapfrog the normal judicial process
4
@shyft09 like jack smith you people are trying to jump the gun. The Supreme Court is not even contemplating the if question yet . The whole denial of this appeal is to say to Jack Smith that he should follow the normal judicial processes rather than try and prevent Trump from appealing at the appellate court the ruling in the lower court that Smith won.
4
@suomynona4607 I’m sure it will end up in the Supreme Court anyway as I believe every case trump is involved in will. However , there is a normal judicial process that needs to be followed and there is no reason to fast track this appeal ( except if you want to interfere in the 2024 election)
3
@Yourdeadmeat69 apparently it is true as the Supreme Court quickly sent a message denying Smith with one sentence
2
@timjohnun4297 well that’s not how the Supreme Court works. It’s not there to do the lower courts work
2
@trumpisgoingtoprison177 if that’s the case then so be it . However you can’t have smith get a beneficial ruling and then appeal to the Supreme Court without letting the defence put their case up for their own appeal in the appellate court
2
@bobbart4198 I always say “you people “ to see if can trigger any race baiters. Congratulations you’re the first today .
2
@trumpisgoingtoprison177 you just don’t get it do you? Smith won in the lower court, then in an arrogant attempt to bypass the rights of the defence he tried leapfrogging the right of appeal of the defence and went straight to the Supreme Court and got a swift and clear message back .
2
@bobbart4198 why are you wondering . Just read my comments. It’s all there in black and white .
2
@tesladrew2608 every case trump is involved will be going to the supreme court . That doesn’t mean the prosecutors can try and bypass the normal judicial process
2
@bobbart4198 move on little fella , this is not even about the Colorado case which btw is going to get hammered even harder by the SCOTUS
2
@CrazyCoconut-ky3gp it doesn’t seem to both ways though dues it . Biden is getting a way Scot Free , because it’s his weaponised justice system
1
@Spellsandstitches4 the thing with Biden is the vast majority of his accusations of illegality are when he was a senator or vice president and no one is trying to go after a criminal charge against him while he is president .
1
@user-gy5qp9kf1n that’s why we have elections . It’s called democracy and trying to rob people of their right to chose who they want as president through lawfare is as dangerous as it gets and is the type of behaviour that starts civil wars .
1
@reubenj.cogburn8546 Trumps supporters are not going to lose their support , in fact his supporter base is clearly growing . I believe he would have faded away if it wasn’t for the unprecedented lawfare against him and the people are clearly coming around to the fact that they don’t like having their right to elect who they want taken away from them. So I think the best result to save democracy is to vote trump into power. This will send a clear message to all those trying to end democracy by trying to imprison their political opponents that the people will not stand for attempts to destroy democracy
1
@krisbrisebois4222 every trump case will end up in the Supreme Court . However Jack Smith is clearly trying to fast track this case to have it run before the election. This is called election interference and for decades prior this sort of lawfare was avoided during the election cycle to ensure elections weren’t interfered with.
1
@timjohnun4297 rubbish . We won’t the end result of these trials for years to come as whatever happens , the result will be appealed . So you can’t have a lower court finding someone guilty on not guilty before the election and after speaks the and after the election the decisions are reversed . That’s called election interference
1
@DannyMancheno you’ve really bought into the dictator narrative haven’t you? It’s a worry that such feeble minds have the power to vote
1
@thomaskiser3886 I’ve got a feeling you question Lot of things little fella. Maybe go back to watching cartoons . Maybe that won’t go over your head .
