Climate change comes in many forms... in this case 183 arsonists

@Make Racists Afraid Again I’m a physicist you idiot

@catalinacurio ice levels are growing in the Antarctic , and predictions of the Maldives, and Manhattan being under water by now never happened. Climate change happens but the impact man has on it is way over stated.

@That SriLankanGuy are you serious? I’m pretty sure you weren’t christened with your username.

@MrOopsidaisy climate change happens, but the climate cultist of this world only look at the worse case scenario . The IPCC modelling has a sensitivity analysis ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 degrees global temperature change if CO2 levels doubled. In other words, if global CO2 levels doubled we have just as much chance of having zero impact on the climate as we have of having catastrophic effects. Sounds like the science is not quite as settled as many suggest.

@MrOopsidaisy Australia has fires every year. In 2009 the fires killed 200 people, in 1983 the Ash Wednesday fires were also very severe fires and there is a history of many other extreme fires . There were also 183 people arrested for lighting these fires this year and experts suggest that this makes up for 75% of all the fires. Just like the annual Brazil Fires , the only reason the world knows about these fires is because there are people in the MSM who are promoting their climate change agenda and are seeking out any natural disasters to promote their climate change agenda..

@MrOopsidaisy the world periodically heats up and cools down, the world was warming till it peaked in the 1940s where people were fearful the hot weather would never end , however that ended and the earth started cooling down for 30 plus years, so much so that the climatologists in 1972 were fearful we were going into an ice age , then of course in the mid 1970s the earth started warming up again. People have a very short memories and even though temperatures appear like it will keep going up or down it always turns around due to forcing factors much greater than man can produce. As far as your assessment of fire in Australia, Bushfire scientist don’t agree with your assessment. The formation of Mega fires are mainly due to the level of fuel loads on the ground. Recommendation from previous mega fires have suggested that to ensure future fires are controllable, that back burning at least 5% of crown land will significantly reduce the chance of mega fires occurring. Also given that studies have found that 85% of bushfires are the result of humans either accidentally or intentionally lighting them , which is a far cry from climate change being the cause .

@MrOopsidaisy the fuel loads has been allowed to build up over the past 40 years because of poor decisions by previous governments who have reclassified state forests as national parks , stopped allowing lives stock to graze in national parks , and green tape has made it very difficult to clear trees and vegetation to create fire breaks to protect properties from fires. Bush fires need fuel to burn , so irrespective of whether the temperature is warmer or not, if there is no fuel to burn then fires cannot burn. You can try as much as you like to make a direct link between climate change and intensity of bushfires but the science of bushfires doesn’t support your argument.
