  9. Mark Readin Trump inherited the Syria conflict as he did every other conflict the US is involved in. He wants to withdraw troops from Syria as well as Afghanistan. He didn’t want to intervene with the internal politics of Saudi Arabia because of Khashoggi and his plan is to withdraw as many troops from foreign conflicts as he can and get other NATO members to take over.
