  1. This is a regular August burn off of farm land, there were worse fires in 2003 and 2010. if people are really worried about losing Amazon forest then stop eating soy.. Brazilian forest are being cleared to support soybean crops as Brazil is now the 2nd biggest producers of soy in the world.

  2. @felix mendez cattle farms in Brazil does clear a lot of the Amazon forest ... The solution is not to stop eating beef but stop importing beef from Brazil .
