  8.  @rell127  there are plenty of examples of medication that may fix a specific problem but have horrible side effects that many consider are worse than the problem they were trying to fix Examples are anti depressants , where many sufferers find the side effects are way worse than then their affliction.

  11.  @juliering6653  scientist aren’t Gods, we make mistakes as well. I’ll give you a classic example of Ancel Keys who was the top health advisor to the government for reducing heart disease. He promoted saturated fat as the cause even though at the same time other scientists were saying sugar was the issue . Well for decades government around the world lowered fat content in food and replaced it with sugar. Obesity and heart disease grew as a result.. now we know Sugar is the problem and I wish we had a president who criticised Ancel Keys at the time.
