  7. @Damian Draven he completed a medical degree and specialised in ophthalmology. He has the background to understand reports and studies on virology..that makes him more than a credible source to be asking Fauci the tough questions that other less qualified politicians would not be able to .

  8. @Jens Raab Dr Rand Paul has the medical training and background for him to understand medical studies and reports and therefore can form his own conclusions on where this virus is at. Fauci is an expert but his approach to handling of this virus is in question annd the more tough questions he gets from appropriately qualified people like Rand Paul the better. As far as flattening the curve goes , I don’t believe anyone is arguing against that the aim was to take pressure of the hospital system as as to prevent the virus and deaths getting out of control

  9. @Shoestring Stacker you seem to have missed Rand Paul’s point in that he is suggesting that many reports have suggested that herd immunity is responsible for the current low death rates in places like New York, Sweden , London, Italy, as all these places have a reached seroprevalence of around 15 to 20% and as Rand Paul was alluding to research into T cell immunity can explain the other 30 or so percent . All these places have different approaches , some with lockdowns, and mask mandates and some without. So Rand Paul is asking the appropriate questions on whether this virus is being handled in the right way.
