Corporate tax cuts from 35% to 20.5% has made it more attractive for businesses to stay in the US ..however deregulation has been more important to incentivise businesses to not only stay in the US and invest more but has also attracted businesses to relocate back to the US. In Obama’s last year 200 000 manufacturing jobs were lost. trump actions have enabled 500000 manufacturing and construction jobs to come back to the US.. The bottom line is that business confidence under Trump is at all Time high as they see Trump as a business friendly president who encourages investment in the US ..whereas business confidence under Obama was very low. I would also add he has given tax cuts to the population that has which equates to an average of $2000 per family per annum. Not all people benefit from these tax cuts, especially the states that have high local taxes such big spending and taxing Democrat run states such as California as the state and local taxes (SALT) deduction on local government taxes was capped at 10 %.
