The beauty of the US system as flawed as it is is that there are 3 equal arms of government that are used as guard rails to ensure democracy prevails

The democrats tried removing trump from office with partisan impeachments and investigations but the guard rails in the constitution ensured that the democratic process prevailed . There is no chance of anyone becoming a dictator for life in the US

@kennyn1992 to become a dictator , it would require a change to the constitution . Now in order to get that 2/3 of the house and 2/3 of the senate must vote on those changes . Alternatively 2/3 of all states request one . Now for this change to be ratified 3/4 of the state legislatures have to ratify it . So as you can see it would be extremely difficult or near impossible for anyone to become a dictator as it is extremely difficult to change the constitution

@kennyn1992 do you really think 2/3 of the senate and 2/3 of the house …which would mean that a large number of democrats would vote to allow a change in the constitution to enable trump to become a dictator and ask yourself why that didn’t happen in the 4 years where trump was president where he could barely get his own party to vote on bills like building the wall or removing Obamacare . The bottom line is that you people are crazy to believe this dictator rubbish and you really need to use some critical thinking to realise it’s near impossible for it to occur
