The crowd size just shows how much enthusiasm the country has for Donald Trump as opposed to the 4 or 5 people who turn up to Biden’s rally

@ryandesjadon2861 these peaceful protest are held outdoors, and studies have found that people are 20 times less likely to get infected than if held indoors.

@suo-juntan1832 there is a reason these peaceful protests are held outdoors as there is 20 times less chance of getting infected than indoors. Also all attendees are temperature checked and provided with masks

@suo-juntan1832 you’re absolutely right, can’t fight nature . You’ve had countries such as those in Europe who have tried hiding away from the virus and all that has happened is that these people get lockdown fatigue and then eventually get the virus anyway in a big way. . I would much rather the approach of the US where those who are young and heathy have as normal a life as possible and get infected , recover and gain immunity for however long that lasts. That way nature takes its course just like the flu. The only proviso is that the elderly and those with health conditions avoid crowds as much as possible as they are the most at risk of dying.

@suo-juntan1832 I believe there has only been a couple of cases of people who have been infected within 3 months with the same strain. Other may have been re- infected but with another strain. The elderly are going to be at risk no matter whether a vaccine is developed or not as its very much doubtful that a vaccine will be any where near 100% effective and I doubt whether more than 40% of people will take the vaccine. So the vulnerable can either take a chance and hope that that if do get infected that the therapeutics etc will get them through
