  11. @Chrissy Corey you do realise under Trump’s presidency, unemployment for blacks, Hispanics ,Asians are the lowest they have ever been? And wage growth has been the highest with these groups as well with blue collar jobs. Conservatives only care about merit , we don’t care if your black, white, blue or green, a woman , man, gay, trans or whatever, if you are the best qualified and work hard, then you sped serve to get ahead.

The only thing keeping black people down nowadays is that 75% of all black children are growing up without a father whereas back in the 60s that number used to only be around 20%. A sure fire way to not succeed in life is to not finish school , and have children before you are married .Instead of addressing this cultural issue , Democrats have made it worse by throwing welfare at the problem instead of trying to fix it. Conservative policies such a schools choice which allows kids in poor badly run school the opportunity to move to better schools out of their area. Trumps jobs plan has driven black unemployment to its lowest level ever. This is how you change a culture , by given everyone the same opportunity to succeed , if they are willing to d it.

  20. @Chrissy Corey boys need a father to keep them on the straight an narrow and girls need fathers to make sure they feel protected. This stops boys from getting into gangs and petty crime as they try and find that father figures from gang leaders to guide them into manhood and similarly it is well known girls without fathers in the house can become very promiscuous which leads to an ongoing cycle of fatherless children . This doesn’t just apply to the black community, it applies to everyone. My point is that even though blacks were not treated equally in the 60s , they had stronger family values and raised stronger children. Now because of government intervention black family values have been decimated because of fatherless families and this makes it very hard to ensure successful children with equal opportunities compared to other kids who are in a strong family home ( black or white) Of course racism still exists and probably always will . I do however accept that black unemployment is close to double that of white unemployment . However , I think that gap will disappear if we focused on making black families stronger again by addressing the appalling level of fatherless families.
