Hole in ozone layer failed and moved to global warming which failed after unexplained 18 year "pause" resulting in no warming and now we are at climate change... there's no doubt climate change exists and man has an impact. The "luke warmers " like myself just don't believe our impact is significant enough to trash a country's economy over.. sure , do a much as you can to reduce emissions and reduces your own personal carbon footprint but carbon taxes etc will just send your jobs overseas.

  3. Jules nagbunga, there's nothing wrong with private companies tapping into the green energy market . However , governments forcing their industries to pay more for their energy by introducing carbon taxes and shutting down coal fired plants only cost jobs and loss of international competitiveness. As far as Trump introducing a reducing tariff, this along with the now business friendly tax and regulations reform in the USA is designed to attract overseas company to build plants in the USA, which means more jobs...

  4. Danyal, I'd say Trump is referring to the global warming "pause" starting in 1997 and lasting for 19 years. Where global warming models couldn't explain why the Earth was not warming as models predicted.. This embarrassing trend for global warmist lasted for 19 years and to save face and not lose all the followers of the religion of global warming, they decided to come up with a new safer term , hence "Climate change".
