Thelonestar Trumps destruction of political correctness which has stifled debate in the western world for decades has now allowed for robust debates to occur , which has been great for conservatives as the left’s tactics of crying racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe, etc no longer holds any weight.

  5. Thelonestar Pelican No. political correctness has long been a tool of the left to try and shutdown debate. Look at countries like Canada where parliament passed a motion to condemn islamaphobia , which is killing free speech in Canada and stops the ability to enable addressing real problems. Similarly in Sweden , police were asked not to report attacks by migrants on women as the government did want to appear racist. This resulted in locations within Sweden becoming the rape capital of Europe, just because the left didn’t allow truths to be told thanks to political correctness. Let me be quite clear, I hate racism and bigotry however when issues cannot be debated because people are fearful of being called a racist then we are in big trouble and The world should thank Trump for killing political correctness so that these real issues can be properly addressed.

The whole world was recovering from the global financial crisis at the same time and the US was lagging behind other major Asian and African countries in their rate of recovery. Obama was known as a business unfriendly president and hurt the recovery by implementing stifling regulations that increased costs that helped drive struggling businesses offshore. It was trump who removed the unnecessary of those regulations resulting in business confidence skyrocketing . The corporate tax Cuts was the cherry on top of this which has brought back millions of jobs, especially in manufacturing.

However , he did implement the Troubles Asset Relief Program that ended the crisis. He also saved the auto industry by providing short term loans, Obama just extended these short term loans. When Obama took over the whole world was recovering from the GFC and as indicated America lagged well behind other countries like China . Obama also killed the manufacturing industry and even famously said that manufacturing jobs are gone and never coming back . In the last 12 months of Obama’s presidency the country was losing jobs every month . Since Trump took took over there has been an average of 25000 manufacturing jobs created each month. .
