  5.  @codyallen914  firstly , at no stage did I mention masks , I highlighted the inconsistency of you people attacking people for burning masks whilst not being overly concerned about BLM rioters burning buildings down. As far as masks go , sure, there is a place for them when people are in crowded areas where people can’t social distance like public transport, however, commonsense suggests social distancing is the best preventative measure to prevent transmission of any transmissible disease. So broad based mask mandates are ridiculous, especially when people are forced to wear masks when out in the middle of nowhere. Governments should focus on educating people on social distancing, hand hygiene and staying at home when you are feeling sick and ONLY mandate masks for specific situations where social distancing cannot be achieved.. If governments did this , I’m sure there would be a lot less ridiculous physical confrontations and there would be a lot more people willing to wear masks in appropriate situations.

  6.  @elikreppel6417  the mask burning protest was in Boise where the mayor has a mask mandate for ALL public places, such as parks , trails , businesses and any other public places and there is no rule that says citizens don’t have to wear a mask if they are social distanced. Police will fine or arrest people if they are not wearing masks. Note Boise is the only county in Idaho that has a mask mandate, hence why the protest was held in Boise.

If governments had reasonable mask mandates such as wearing masks when in public transport or other situations where social distancing is not possible then Im sure most people would be fine with that.
