Not a smart political move by Betsy to cut funding to special Olympics.. there are a lot less deserving organisations such as public universities that bites the hand that feeds them that should be the first to lose funding.

@LadyArmand2000 I’m glad you got that rant off your chest.. firstly I’m a physicist so I understand the importance of a real university education.. however I have seen universities continue to grow and offer totally useless degrees in “ gender studies “ and various other social science courses that will generate a lot of student debt but will never generate any job opportunities.. the government should cut funding to universities especially in areas that overly support these useless degrees. The country needs education not indoctrination. In terms of the rest of your rant.. I’ll leave that for another day.

@Karen Reed I didn’t question whether the money was justified or not.. it was a dumb political move that gave the left ammunition to attack the Trump administration with.

@hugh jorgan no doubt the Democrats have jumped on it... but the republicans would have done the same thing.. For a measly 18 million, it really wasn’t worth doing it.

@hugh jorgan Good decisive move by Trump... of course the party of witch-hunters will still try and milk this.. however trump is having a rally in Michigan so he will control the news cycle and they will refocus of something he says or does at the rally.
