Well if General Mattis was in command I’m betting there would be a lot more Us soldiers coming back in body bags and there would be no chance in hell that this historic peace deal bewteen Israel, the UAI and Bahrain would have occurred.

The IPCC itself modelled a 1.5 to 4.5 degree temperature change if CO2 is doubled , where 1.5 degrees won’t make any difference and 4.5 degrees is catastrophic. So Trump is right ...Science doesn’t know

@Civil Villain I’m a physicist , so I understand confidence intervals. The fact is that in the last 30 years scientists have not been able to narrow that modelled range of global temperatures to less than the 3 degree range they have now , in other words scientists do not understand the climate driving variables enough to tighten their model outputs. Within the climatology community itself people like professor Judith Curry has released peer reviewed studies that used the same computer models with much more reasonable assumptions and have come up a range of 1.05 to 2.7 degrees. So I still argue that science doesn’t know, it just has a very rough idea

@jennybugsification13 so if a judge doesn’t know if a man killed someone but has a rough idea , should that man be sentenced to death? or maybe a bit more thorough investigation is called for before making a huge decision.

Even the IPCC presents factual reports that tell you the full story , however climate alarmist know that people like you are not educated enough to understand those reports so they they spin the absolute un achievable worst case scenario knowing that you people will swallow it up book line and sinker.

@Civil Villain you might of well as said your’e a cook, as it is just as irrelevant a profession when it come to climate change . I can give you numerous names of climatologist , physicist, etc who also believe the climate alarmism is way over the top. I will make the point though that none of these scientist that I agree with are saying that the science behind global warming is not correct.. we are saying that the level of increase is not significant enough so that we have to completely destroy our economies and stop all fossil fuel usage and scare the crap out of our children. Now with your point that climate alarmism is not real. Well of course it is .. This all stems from the IPCC coming up with different scenarios to model global temperature outcomes. These scenarios range from RCP 2.6 , RCP 4.0, RCP 6.0 and the worst case climate alarmist scenario of RCP 8.5 The problem with RCP 8.5 scenario is that it uses the absolute worst case scenarios that results in extremely high energy usage , with the “ dirtiest” of Fuel, with no mitigation works happening at all , out of control population growth, technogoly development going backwards ..basically it is a scenario that most reasonable people don’t even believe is possible. So the “ climate alarmist” are the people , who are usually not scientist , who use this impossible worst case scenario and present it as the status quo and then scare the crap out of people and say the earth will end in 12 years if we don’t do something extremely drastic.

Scientists can’t narrow down the change in global temperate due to doubling CO2 from a negligible change of 1.5 degrees to a catastrophic change of 4.5 degrees... pandemic modellers said we would have 2.2 million deaths in the US ... now you tell me do you really think science knows where they are this far out with their modelling?

The IPCCs modelling basically backs up Trumps position. If Science did know , then in the last 30 years you think we’d have a better model output of change in global temperate of 1.5 to 4.5 degrees where 1.5 degrees makes negligible difference and 4.5 degrees Is catastrophic. They are basically saying “ we will be totally fine ... or we could all die” in other words science doesn’t know.
