@DesX42S besides not having a year that this happened , any physical evidence that it happened , any police report , anyone from the crowded store that witnessed it, the fact that she never mentioned anything about it for 30 years until he became a president and also a jury that found he wasn’t guilty of rape . Well , she accused him of rape. And she put a defamation suit against him because he said she lied. Well the jury didnt find him guilty of rape and yet still ordered him to pay for defamation. So of course he is going to appeal and win and then probably sue her for defamation.

It was a deformation case because he said he didn’t rape her . The jury found he didn’t rape her and yet she still gets awarded fir deformation . Only in New York can this happen. This will be appealed and trump will win

There is no physical evidence of rape she never reported it to police and only made the accusations in 2019 which was way beyond the statute of limitations .

@alexvaraderey the burden of proof is on the accuser. Ie innocent until proven guilty. If she can’t give a year the incident took place how can he provide an alibi? If she had not reported it to police for 30 something years and has no physical evidence than what is there for him to challenge ? She could accuse anyone and they would have as much chance of defending as Trump did which is none .

I guarantee that if this trial was held in say Florida , with the lack of surety of which year this rape supposedly occurred, Lack of any physical evidence , lack of reporting supposed rape to police , not screaming while being raped in a public place then trump would have been found innocent of all charges .

@manperm7760 conveniently this New York Adult Survivors Act has only a 1 year window between November 22 and November 23 to purse legal action for cases dating back that far. A cynic may think that this act was only put in place for trump accusers to have a crack at him during the 2024 election campaign.

They ticked NO for rape , YES for sexual abuse , No decision for forcibly touch her, and YES for was she injured by trumps conduct . The bottom line is because of lack of evidence they could not tick yes for any act that involved trump forcing himself on Carrol.

It might pay to actually do some research before making any more uniformed statements . What factual case was presented given she can’t pinpoint the year, there is absolutely no physical evidence , she didn’t report the incident to police and she waited 23 years when trump becomes president to make the accusations. I’ve got no doubt when this gets appealed to the highest court if need be then the ruling will be quashed
