  3. It’s is smaller low population states that benefit from the electoral college as was intended by the founding fathers . The fact that most of these states are republicans is irrelevant

  5.  @seth8629  your first comment is correct in that the founding fathers wanted to make sure the large states did not dominate presidential elections . I think this is fair as it means governments are forced to consider the whole country’s views rather than pander to just the high population cities
