It's outrageous the wasted energy in burning peat is probably greater than energy in the palm oil they produce. if the peat was dug up and used for horticultural growing, in Japan for example, a vast amount of food could be produced using that peat. But this whole scandal started with the British Empire sectioning off Brunei which has all the Oil and is now under ruthless Sharia law, leaving the Indonesian side to destroy the rainforest just to grow palm oil
