  1. Disruptive is the right word for this technique of cutting bits of DNA out. They made the same mistake with tomatoes, cutting out the Gene for ripening to extend shelf life, then found they stayed on the shelf because the same Gene enhance the flavour and with the shelf already full of Tomatoes, growers couldn't sell their next days produce of tomatoes. Cutting things out of frontal lobe of schizophrenics brains appeared to get rid of the symptoms but you are left with a useless human being dependent on health care for the rest of their life. Because cutting pieces out of a living organisms DNA alters them for the rest of their existence it's extremely dangerous and may appear to solve the immediate problem but result in a far more horrific problem in the future, more horrific than any plague that has hit the human race in the past
