  1. Why aren't refugees status claimants allowed to work? Is it some kind of twisted moral that if somebody is a refugee they must not work? Who has to work on low wages to support them, grow their food, dispose of their waste etc? Far better for their own self-esteem if they have jobs, can support themselves and even contribute to the country that has given them homes.
