Microprocessors evolved all the way from using your fingers to count, abacus, slide rule, mechanical calculators, Colossus valve computers, transistors replacing valves, transistors becoming nanometres in size on silicon all the time the DNA working seemingly without a direct from beginning to end plan but the evolution is set for constant improvement and survival of the best suited
