Let's hope one of the 27 wants to make themselves popular with their voters in advance of the upcoming EU elections and refuses to agree an extension.

If Theresa May gets an extension Leave & Remain will be united in demanding we get a vote in the European elections. (Not just people who earn more than £30,000 (less than that & you don't count as human in Theresa May's world))

@SaturnusDK Italy has a populist Prime Minister, UK has almost exclusively UKIP populist MEPs It's safe to vote for Marine le pen, Gert etc in European elections, same like UKIP MEPs for UK. Populists will be increasing seats European Parliament. Guess who will be representing UK if we get a long extension and not just remainers but leavers demand the right to vote in EU election?
