No they should be concerned about an ambassador behaving the way the German ambassador behaved in London shortly before World War II. What the Ambassador did was a crime to repeat what he saw on CNN or wherever from his hole in the embassy. He made it sounds like he was a permanent resident of the White House and he made the kind of insults we hear about the president sound like facts unacceptable he should have been sacked and the person who leaked it did us all a favour.

Lack of support? Remainer civil servants have no right to sabotage relationships between UK and USA in the face of EU aggression. Where did he see this that he wrote, from his hole in the embassy? CNN?

@raybo64 no wonder Theresa May makes such bad mistakes with advice from civil servants like this ambassador. She lost her majority in parliament because of bad advice from other civil servants who were then sacked. There was absolutely no reason for the Ambassador to make such an insulting report about the American president at the same time as getting involved with seizing oil tankers on USA request against Iran! Do you really need to be a military analyst to decode what is going on without having an ambassador write a letter like that?

Why not apply Theresa May's own rule about this: "There's no other possibility" the command this insult be written and leaked in must have come from PM herself. Remainer interference in the special relationship just when we need a strong partnership with USA in the face of EU aggression - attempting to force us to accept Theresa May surrender document?
