I worked for Daewoo Securities and my father worked for KDB - KDB received Daewoo Heavy and Daewoo Securities during the breakup

I lived in the Philippines and they drink the sago pearls in a molasses like syrup drink instead of tea (they also use the same liquid base for soft tofu dessert, very popular there) Sago balls have a crumbly texture unlike tapioca, and I much prefer the mouthfeel texture. I do think there is a difference in taste, with sago having notes of coconut, but most people would likely not notice. But even in the Philippines these days they use the lower price pearls.

I had a 2000 Euro wide perspective super flat 120Mhz Trinitron 28" - the best image quality ever

Fun fact Tico was made by Daewoo Heavy, the only Daewoo car that is so
7
@zurinarctus1329 I didn't know that - he was undone by the same stubborn refusal to give up that powered his rise. Senior managers in the Daewoo group had unusual clout due to the young age of Kim's children and a lack of share parking relatives, but their counsel for reduce aggressiveness fell on deaf years and in some cases even led to their replacement

@jrmac1757 might I ask how you know this?

He was also dismissed from ROKA for being a communist sympathizer. Committed anti communists throughout Asia had often been in the employ of the Japanese, incl. leaders of Sing, Indonesia, Philippines etc. Same thing in Europe - I don't think they caused any fascist problems and they were reliably free world
5
For decades there was IBM and the riff raff, God and commoners. Also all systems were proprietary even if custom outside components were used, and it wasn't until the pc that components were standardized and Intel blew up.
5
@hijodelsoldeoriente Spain organized conquered territories along similar lines to their own feudal society back home - unlike the British and the French, and like the Portuguese, Spanish settlers were mostly men and not families, and this had implications for their colonial policy's differences with their domestic policy, aside from the usual bigotry of the age.
4
@wesleynishi6081 during the 80's Sanyo had some stylish and functional music players as well boomboxes walkmen
4
It's honest as long as long as you don't piss off the wrong people - then it's gestapo
3
It only applies to those that were empowered to wield it in the first place, but if they let the janitor have the chop then yes, like winning an election
3
It's just fabrics
3

3

3
Sun's disciples
2
Before TSMC small IC companies (all in the US) went to IBM, Motorola and Texas Instruments for fabrication. Dr. Chang's genius was that there was a high tech Nike subcontractor gold mine he could mine.

There is a reason why Australia, PNG, and Andamans don't have Austronesians but have people like the Negroid minorities of Southeast Asia. The originals
1
@primalamerica you are 100 % wrong
1
@aremeaine linguistics show Austronesians originate from southern China but that doesn't rule out sunda paradise theory - same with steppe hunters
